ABOUT US
New Futures is an ambitious provider intent on developing a number of children’s homes across the West Midlands. We focus on child centred approaches that facilitate well-being and the development of self-coping, social and practical skills. Services are run by a highly experienced leadership team committed to building an involved and committed workforce. We apply principles of therapeutic practice strengthened through input from specialist clinicians.

Parkfields House - Wolverhampton
We have taken great pride in developing Parkfields House, our first home. The service is registered for two young people with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) of either gender, aged from 10 to 16 years old on admission. Situated in a fairly quiet, multicultural residential setting less than two miles from the city centre, young people living at in the detached property have easy access to a wide range of community services and facilities.
QUALITY & RISK MANAGEMENT
At New Futures, quality management is closely linked to our approach to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare. Everyone here plays an active role in this process, which is based on our deeply child-centred ethos. We go out of our way to understand the young people we work with, and we do our best to strike the fine balance between empowerment and duty of care.

Quality through engagement
Working together and nurturing a team approach is at the heart of everything we do. This is about building relationships, listening and sharing information with our young people, their social network, staff, supporting professionals, and the wider community.

Safeguarding
Our approach to safeguarding underpins all of our operational processes. We promote an open culture, where communication flows freely and all concerns are carefully considered. We seek to understand the young person's needs from the onset through a diligent pre-admission process. Using a partnership approach, we build personalised strategies to promote the person's welfare and protect them from harm.
Employees are actively engaged in the safeguarding process. This starts from their recruitment, right through to training, supervision, and their day to day interactions with the young people.
